MaBaSoft releases Application Wizard 3.2 (December 20, 2011)

Application Wizard provides easy access to your applications, documents, folders, and disks. It lets you quickly open, quit, and make applications active, turn single application mode on, and quit background-only applications and the Finder.

With Application Wizard you can also disable window restoration for specific applications, browse volumes and favorite folders to quickly open enclosed items, eject and mount disks, check memory usage, and easily access recent documents, Address Book contacts, and your iPhoto or Aperture library.

Finally, Application Wizard lets you preview images, music, and movies and view file properties and metadata.

What's new in Application Wizard 3.2?

 Application Wizard lets you now run AppleScripts from the Open and Special menus. To run AppleScripts from the Open menu, add them to your groups or add AppleScript folders to the Open menu. To run AppleScripts from the Special menu, select them in the menu and choose Run Script.
 Running applications can now be listed from the most recent one to the oldest one in the Quit and Switch menus. To list running applications chronologically, click the Customize Menus button in the Menus pane and select the "Sort running applications chronologically" checkbox in the Quit and Switch panes.
 The Switch menu lets you now exclude applications that you never need to activate. To exclude an application from the Switch menu, click the Customize Menus button in the Menus pane, click Switch, and add the application to the excluded applications list.
 A bug that could, under particular circumstances, cause Application Wizard to crash on Lion after System Preferences was opened or closed or specific system preferences were edited has been fixed.
 Some other minor bugs have been fixed and some other minor improvements have been introduced.

Application Wizard 3.2 is fully compatible with macOS 10.7 Lion and runs in English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, and Italian.

 Daylight-saving information for Cuba, Fiji, Ukraine, and the Brazilian State of Bahia has been updated. Bahia reintroduced daylight-saving time this year, Cuba postponed the end of DST from October 30 to November 13, 2011, Fiji will anticipate the end of DST from February 26 to January 22, 2012, and Ukraine canceled its previous decision to permanently remain on daylight-saving time and switched back to standard time on October 30, 2011.
 Two minor incompatibilities with macOS 10.7 Lion have been solved. The position of the Clocks palette pop-up menus has been corrected and the desktop-level Clocks palette remains visible now when the desktop is shown with Mission Control.

World Clock Deluxe 4.7.8 runs in English, German, Dutch, French, and Italian.

What's new in Application Wizard 3.1?

 The incompatibilities with macOS 10.7 Lion have been solved.
 On Lion, Application Wizard lets you now disable or enable window restoration for specific applications. To edit window restoration settings, open the Resume pane of the Application Wizard preferences.
 On Lion, you can now open applications without restoring their windows by holding the Command and Option keys while displaying the Open menu.
 On Lion, you can now quit applications and close (or keep) their windows by holding the Command and Option keys while displaying the Quit menu.
 On Lion, you can now show a confirmation message when choosing Restart, Shut Down, or Log Out from the Special menu. To show the confirmation message and specify whether restoring windows when you log back in, hold the Option key while displaying the Special menu.
 On Lion, the Library item can now be added to the Special menu. In addition to that, you can quickly show the Library folder in the Home submenu by holding the Option key while displaying the Special menu.
 The default keyboard shortcuts for the Open, Quit, Switch, and Special menus have been changed, so that now the default Quit menu shortcut doesn't conflict with Lion's "Quit and Close All Windows" shortcut (Command-Option-Q).
 The iPhoto Library submenu has been revised and displays the new iPhoto monochrome icons.
 An incompatibility with macOS 10.6 that caused the menu panel to disappear after automatic graphics switching on 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pros has been fixed.

What's new in World Clock Deluxe 4.7.7?

 The incompatibilities with macOS 10.7 Lion have been solved.
 The configuration of the show/hide palette keyboard shortcut has been revised so that Unicode keyboards and the F17, F18, F19 keys are now supported. In addition to that, shortcuts containing function keys, arrow keys, or keypad keys do not require modifiers anymore and keypad keys appear in square brackets [ ] in the Palette pane of World Clock Deluxe Preferences.
 The offset from UTC of the Kuril Islands and Ust-Nera, Russia has been updated after some districts of the Sakhalin region and Sakha Republic moved from Magadan Summer Time (UTC+12) to Vladivostok Summer Time (UTC+11) on August 31, 2011.
 Daylight-saving time information for the Palestinian Territories, Samoa, Ukraine, and the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador has been updated. This year, the Gaza Strip anticipated the end of DST on August 1, before the beginning of Ramadan, while the West Bank suspended daylight-saving time during Ramadan and resumed it on August 30. Samoa will start DST one day earlier, on September 24, and Ukraine abolished the switch to standard time and will observe daylight-saving time all year round. The Newfoundland and Labrador province amended its DST legislation to start and end daylight-saving time at 2:00 AM in line with the rest of North America.
 Some minor bugs have been fixed.
 Minimum required system version is now macOS 10.4.

Currency Assistant is a very flexible and easy-to-use currency conversion calculator that lets you convert between 174 world currencies and automatically updates exchange rates over the Internet. With Currency Assistant you can easily create multiple converters, import and convert series of amounts, calculate and convert the result of expressions, and quickly log, save, export, and print your conversions.

 The automatic update of the Bank of Canada rates has been restored after the Bank of Canada changed the location and contents of the Daily Noon Rates CSV file.
 The incompatibilities with macOS 10.7 Lion have been solved.

With Application Wizard you can also browse volumes and favorite folders to quickly open enclosed items, eject and mount disks, check memory usage, and easily access recent documents, Address Book contacts, and your iPhoto or Aperture library. Finally, Application Wizard lets you preview images, music, and movies, copy pictures, view metadata, and display slideshows.

What's new in Application Wizard 3.0?

 The Application Wizard pane in System Preferences has been completely revised. The General, Groups, Applications, Menus, and Keyboard Shortcuts panes have been redesigned and most dialogs have been eliminated so that options are now easier to access and quicker to configure.
 The Quit and Switch menus can now be fully customized by adding, removing, and rearranging items. In addition to that, the Open, Quit, Switch, and Special menus can now be edited all from the same multi-pane dialog.
 Application Wizard lets you now restore the Open, Quit, Switch, and Special menus to default. To restore menus, click the Customize Menus button in the Menus pane, and choose Restore Default Menu from the menu's Action pop-up menu.
 You can now open and quit groups using keyboard shortcuts. To assign a shortcut to a group, select the group in the Groups pane, enable the shortcut, choose an action, click the shortcut field, and press a key combination.
 Application Wizard lets you now duplicate groups. To duplicate a group, select it in the Groups pane, click the Add button, and choose Duplicate Group. In addition to that, you can now quickly add all the open applications to a group by clicking the Add button and choosing Add Running Applications.
 The Excluded Applications group has been eliminated. To exclude applications from the Quit menu or open excluded applications automatically at login, click the Quit tab in the Customize Menus dialog.
 To quit all excluded applications you can now define a "Quit excluded applications" keyboard shortcut or add the Quit Excluded command to the Quit menu.
 Application Wizard now fully supports iPhoto '11, fixes a bug that could cause photos not to be listed in the Photos submenu and solves some minor incompatibilities with previous iPhoto versions.
 The Aperture Library submenu shows MobileMe, Flickr, and Facebook accounts and galleries correctly now.
 Keyboard shortcuts containing function keys, arrow keys, or keypad keys now do not require modifiers anymore.
 Several other minor improvements have been introduced and some minor bugs have been fixed.

What's new in World Clock Deluxe 4.7.6?

 The standard UTC offset of Irkutsk, Russia has been reverted to + 8 h. It was planned that the Irkutsk region would move to Krasnoyarsk Time (UTC+7) on March 27, 2011, but the transistion has been postponed indefinitely.
 Daylight-saving time information for Egypt and the Falkland Islands has been updated. Egypt abolished daylight-saving time, while the Falkland Islands did not switch back to standard time on April 17 and will trial daylight-saving time all year round in 2011.

What's new in World Clock Deluxe 4.7.5?

 The offset from UTC of Irkutsk, Russia has been updated after the Irkutsk region moved from Irkutsk Time (UTC+8) to Krasnoyarsk Time (UTC+7) on March 27, 2011.
 Daylight-saving time information for Belarus, Chile, the Gaza Strip, Morocco, Russia, Samoa, Turkey, the West Bank, and Western Sahara has been updated.

Starting from March 27, 2011, Russia will observe daylight-saving time all year round and Belarus will probably do the same.

This year, Morocco and Western Sahara will observe daylight-saving time from April 3 to July 31, while DST in Turkey started one day later, on March 28, due to a nationwide exam on March 27.

To increase energy savings, Chile decided to further postpone the end of daylight-saving time to May 8. In addition to that, winter time in Chile will last less than 4 months this year with DST starting on the third Saturday in August.

Daylight-saving time in the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip will start on April 1 and 2, respectively and Samoa will anticipate the end of DST from April 3 to April 2.

 Daylight-saving time information for Chile and Cuba has been updated. This year, Chile has extended daylight-saving time (which was originally planned to end on March 13) to continue until April 3 to face water shortage in reservoirs and avoid a possible energy crisis. Cuba decided to postpone the start of DST from the second to the third Sunday in March.

 The irrevocably fixed Estonian kroon (EEK) euro conversion rate (1 EUR = 15.6466 EEK) has been introduced after the euro replaced the kroon and became legal tender in Estonia on January 1, 2011.
 Additional exchange rates can now be updated from the International Monetary Fund (Algerian dinar, Peruvian nuevo sol, Philippine peso, Tunisian dinar, Uruguayan peso) and European Central Bank (Israeli new shekel) web sites.
