World Clock Deluxe Icon

Dock settings

When World Clock Deluxe is running you can quickly view clocks, open panes and settings, and show the Clocks palette by pressing and holding the World Clock Deluxe icon in the Dock.

The Dock pane of World Clock Deluxe Settings (macOS 13 or later) or World Clock Deluxe Preferences (macOS 12 or earlier) lets you add extra functionalities to the World Clock Deluxe icon in the Dock.

Click icon in the Dock to

Select to quickly show or show and hide the Clocks palette by clicking the World Clock Deluxe icon in the Dock. Use the pop-up menu to specify what should happen when you click the World Clock Deluxe icon in the Dock.

Rotate clocks in the Dock

Select to display clocks alternately in the World Clock Deluxe icon in the Dock. Use the slider to adjust the time each clock is displayed.

Effect

When clocks rotate in the Dock, choose a transition effect between clocks.

Style

Choose whether displaying digital or analog clocks in the Dock.

Light text on dark background

Select if you want to display clocks with a dark background and light text in the Dock.

Shorten long cities/time zones/texts

For a better readability, World Clock Deluxe shortens long city names, time zone abbreviations, and alternate texts to always use the maximum font size in the Dock icon.

Deselect if you prefer to display full names. World Clock Deluxe will display long names reducing their font size.

Note: The Dock pane is not available when the World Clock Deluxe icon in the Dock is hidden.
