With Application Wizard you can easily quit, launch, or relaunch the Finder.
Quit the Finder
After having added the “Quit/Launch Finder” item to the Special menu, choose Quit Finder from the Special menu.

After having added the “Quit/Launch Finder” item to the Special menu, choose Launch Finder from the Special menu.

Relaunch the Finder
After having added the “Relaunch Finder” item to the Special menu, choose Relaunch Finder from the Special menu.

Force the Finder to quit
After having added the “Quit/Launch Finder” item to the Special menu, hold down the Option key and choose Force Quit Finder from the Special menu.

After having added the “Relaunch Finder” item to the Special menu, display the Special menu, hold down the Option key, and choose “Force Quit and Relaunch Finder”.
