Rearrange and hide buttons in the menu bar

Application Wizard lets you rearrange buttons in the menu bar and allows you hide buttons you do not use.

Here are ways to rearrange buttons:

Open Application Wizard. On macOS 13 or later, choose Application Wizard > Settings. On macOS 12, choose Application Wizard > Preferences. In the General pane, click Customize Buttons, then drag items in the list.
On macOS 26 or earlier, you can also Option-click buttons in the menu bar and drag them to their new position.

Open Application Wizard. On macOS 13 or later, choose Application Wizard > Settings. On macOS 12, choose Application Wizard > Preferences. In the General pane, click Customize Buttons, then deselect their Show checkboxes in the list.
On macOS 26 or earlier, you can also Option-click buttons in the menu bar and drag them out of the menu bar. To show a hidden button, Option-click the buttons’ background and choose the corresponding Show Menu command from the shortcut menu.
