The Palette pane of World Clock Deluxe Preferences lets you change the way the Clocks palette looks and behaves.
Select the Hide controls checkbox to hide the Clocks palette's close button Level Use the Level pop-up menu to change the Clocks palette level. Choose Floating window to make the Clocks palette float over all open windows, Normal window to make it behave as a normal window, and Desktop icons (on Mac OS X 10.6 or later) or Desktop (on Mac OS X 10.5 or earlier) if you wish that it lies on the desktop under all open windows. Tell me more Font and Size Use the Font and Size pop-up menus to change the font and type size used to display clocks in the Clocks palette. Dial size When clocks are analog, drag the Dial size slider left or right to adjust their dial size. Opacity and Don't apply to text Drag the Opacity slider left or right to change your clocks' opacity in the palette. If you wish that your transparent clocks have an opaque text, select the Don't apply to text checkbox. Tell me more Digital clocks/Analog clocks Select the Analog clocks radio button to display analog clocks in the Clocks palette. Display clocks vertically Select the Display clocks vertically checkbox to list clocks vertically in the Clocks palette. To change the orientation of the palette you can also Shift-Command-click its background. Condense clocks When clocks are digital, select the Condense clocks checkbox to condense clocks horizontally by displaying clock information on two lines. Rotate clocks Select the Rotate clocks checkbox to display clocks alternately in the Clocks palette. Tell me more Speed When clocks rotate, drag the Speed slider left or right to adjust the rotation speed (or, equivalently, the time each clock is displayed). Effect When clocks rotate, use the Effect pop-up menu to add a transition effect (Fade, Slide horizontally, Slide vertically) between clocks. Always show palette at startup Select the Always show palette at startup checkbox if you want to show the Clocks palette automatically when you open World Clock Deluxe. Always show palette on primary screen Select the Always show palette on primary screen checkbox if you want to automatically keep the Clocks palette always on your primary screen when you connect one or more external displays to your computer. Show palette in all spaces Select the Show palette in all spaces checkbox if you use Spaces to reduce clutter and want the Clocks palette to be always available, no matter which space you're in. Use shortcut to show or hide palette Select the Use shortcut to show or hide palette checkbox if you want to quickly show and hide the Clocks palette - no matter whether World Clock Deluxe is active or not - using a keyboard shortcut. Default shortcut is Option-Command-K. To change it, click the shortcut field and press the key combination you want to use. Key combinations including a function key, arrow key, or keypad key do not require modifier keys (Shift, Control, Option, or Command). All the other key combinations must contain at least one modifier key. Keypad keys appear in square brackets [ ] so that you can distinguish them.
