Customizing the World Clock Deluxe menu in the Dock

World Clock Deluxe lets you customize the menu that appears when you press its icon in the Dock or Control-click it if you have Mac OS X 10.6. You can add your local date and time to the menu, decide which clocks should be displayed, and show daylight-saving time transitions.

To configure the World Clock Deluxe menu in the Dock, choose World Clock Deluxe > Preferences, click Menus in the toolbar and select Dock in the Menu pop-up menu.

To show your local date or time in the Dock menu, select the Weekday and/or Date and/or Time checkboxes. To display your local time with seconds or show its offset from UTC, select the Display time with seconds and Display time with UTC offset checkboxes.

By default World Clock Deluxe lists all your clocks in the Dock menu. To display only the clocks that are visible in the Dock, select the Dock clocks radio button. Conversely, to list only the clocks that are hidden in the Dock, select the Other clocks radio button. If you prefer not displaying clocks in the Dock menu, deselect the Show clocks checkbox.

If you would like to know when your clocks will switch to daylight-saving or standard time, select the Show daylight-saving time transitions checkbox. The Dock menu will list when (and in how many days) each city will switch to daylight-saving or standard time and mark the clocks that are about to change with an asterisk (*).
