When Currency Assistant updates rates over the Internet, it logs results so that you can easily find out whether any currencies couldn't be updated and why. To view logs, choose Window > Logs. Each log contains a header with the date and time of the update, a body listing currencies and update results, and a summary indicating the number of currencies, the number of updated rates, and the number of rates that were not be updated. Errors appear in red so that you can easily spot them. If you selected the "Try other sources if rate is not available on favorite web site" checkbox in the Rates Update pane of the Preferences window, rates not found on your favorite web site and updated from a different source will appear in grey and will be marked with an asterisk (*). Tell me more Currency Assistant lets you save entire logs or parts of logs to a RTF file: just select the desired text and click the Save Selection button in the toolbar. To clear logs, click the Clear button in the toolbar. To search logs, click in the Filter field in the toolbar and type the text you want to find. Logs are cleared when you quit Currency Assistant.
