Setting Currency Assistant to check for updates automatically

If you want Currency Assistant to use your Internet connection (when available) to automatically check for new versions, choose Currency Assistant > Preferences and click the Software Update button in the toolbar.

Select the "Automatically check for updates" checkbox and choose Daily, Weekly, or Monthly from the pop-up menu to schedule how often you want Currency Assistant to check for new versions.

When Currency Assistant detects that an update is available, you can choose to download it or ignore it. To download the new version, click the Download button. To ignore it, select the "Do not ask me again" checkbox and click the Cancel button.

With Currency Assistant you can also check for updates manually. To check for new versions, choose Currency Assistant > Check for Updates or click the Check Now button in the Software Update pane of the Preferences window.
