An overview of converters |
Converters allow you to enter amounts and calculate conversions. They can list up to 24 currencies and contain the following items:
| Displays | Converters contain one display for each listed currency. The active display is highlighted and lets you enter the amount you want to convert. Currency Assistant lets you choose the color used to highlight the active display and change the text size in displays. Tell me more |
| Separators | Using separators you can visually group displays within a converter. To insert a separator after the active display, choose Converter > Add Separator. Separators can be darkened to better distinguish them. Tell me more |
| Switch Currency pop-up menus | Each display has a Switch Currency pop-up menu. It shows the ISO code and flag of the associated currency and allows you to quickly change currency. The pop-up menu can be customized, so that you can easily access frequently used currencies. Tell me more |
| Action pop-up menu | The Action pop-up menu lets you accomplish recurrent tasks like updating rates or clearing the tape and allows you to edit, duplicate, and delete the converter. |
| Rate pop-up menu | The Rate pop-up menu lets you view and copy the exchange rates of the currencies listed in the converter. Rates are expressed in terms of your base currency. Tell me more |
| Tape button | The Tape button lets you quickly show or hide the tape drawer. |
| Rate indicator | The Rate indicator shows the active currency's exchange rate expressed in terms of your base currency. Tell me more |
| Rounding pop-up menu | The Rounding pop-up menu shows the active currency's rounding and lets you quickly change it. |
| Tape drawer | The tape lets you log, copy, save, and print conversion results. Tell me more |
Both the Rate pop-up menu and the Rate indicator can display exchange rates using either currency names or ISO codes. Tell me more
