Quitting applications

Application Wizard lets you quit single applications or groups of applications and background-only applications.

Quit an application

Choose the application from the Quit menu.

Quit an application and close all its windows

Display the Quit menu, hold the Command and Option keys, and choose the application.

Display the Quit menu, hold the Command and Option keys, and choose the application.

Quit more applications at the same time

Display the Quit menu and select multiple applications by pressing the Shift key.

If you have selected the "Choosable group menu items" checkbox in the Menus pane of the Application Wizard preferences, choose the group from the Quit menu.
