Previewing pictures

Application Wizard lets you preview image files in the Special menu so that you can quickly browse pictures on your computer and in your iPhoto or Aperture library. You can preview JPEG, TIFF, PNG, GIF, PSD files and any other image file that can be opened by QuickTime.

Application Wizard lets you decide whether picture previews should be displayed in a frame and allows you to adjust their size from a minimum of 100 x 100 pixels to a maximum of 500 x 500 pixels.

To configure picture previews, open the Application Wizard pane in System Preferences and click the Menus tab. Click the Configure Special Menu button to open the Configure Special Menu dialog and click the Configure button to display the Previews panel:

Deselect the Frame previews checkbox if you don't want frames and drag the Pictures slider to vary the size of image file previews.

If you don't see previews in the Special menu, you may have turned them off. To turn them on again, click the Menus tab in the Application Wizard pane in System Preferences. Click the Configure Special Menu button and select the Show previews checkbox.
