Previewing movies

Application Wizard lets you preview video files in the Special menu so that you can quickly browse and find movies on your computer. You can play QuickTime, MPEG 4, AVI, DV movies and any other video file that can be opened by QuickTime.

Application Wizard lets you decide whether movies should be displayed in a frame and allows you to adjust their size from a minimum of 200 x 200 pixels to a maximum of 500 x 500 pixels.

To configure movie previews, open the Application Wizard pane in System Preferences and click the Menus tab. Click the Configure Special Menu button to open the Configure Special Menu dialog and click the Configure button to display the Previews panel:

Deselect the Frame previews checkbox if you don't want frames and drag the Movies slider to vary the size of movie previews.

If you don't see movie previews in the Special menu, you may have turned them off. To turn them on again, click the Menus tab in the Application Wizard pane in System Preferences. Click the Configure Special Menu button and select the Show previews checkbox. Click the Configure button and make sure the Play movies checkbox in the Previews panel is selected.
