Rearranging, moving and copying applications

By default, Application Wizard sorts applications alphabetically within groups, but you can turn off automatic sorting and manually rearrange applications as you prefer.

To arrange applications within groups, open the Application Wizard pane in System Preferences and click the Groups tab.

If you wish to arrange applications manually, but keep groups arranged by name, select the Keep arranged by name checkbox and choose groups in the pop-up menu. If you prefer to arrange both groups and applications manually, deselect the Keep arranged by name checkbox.

Rearrange applications within groups as desired by dragging them in the Groups & Applications list.

No matter whether you keep applications arranged or not, Application Wizard lets you move and copy them from one group to another.

To move one or more applications from one group to another, simply drag them in the Groups & Applications list. To copy them, hold the Option key while dragging.

To select multiple applications, hold the Command key or Shift key while you click.
