Hiding groups

Application Wizard lets you hide groups so that they don't appear in the Open, Quit or Switch menu.

To hide a group, open the Application Wizard pane in System Preferences and click the Groups tab. Double-click the group in the Groups & Applications list or select it and click the Edit Group button.

Deselect the Show in Open menu, Show in Quit menu or Show in Switch menu checkbox if you don't want the group to appear in the Open, Quit or Switch menu. Then click OK.

To quickly see whether a group appears in the Open, Quit or Switch menu, turn on the Info button and move the mouse pointer over the group's name in the Groups & Applications list.

Note that Application Wizard hides groups in the Switch menu (even if their Show in Switch menu checkbox is selected) when single application mode is turned on.
