Turning Application Wizard on and off

To use Application Wizard, you must turn it on. Open the Application Wizard pane in System Preferences, click the General tab and select the Turn on Application Wizard checkbox.

When Application Wizard is turned on, select the Show menu panel checkbox to access the Open, Quit, Switch and Special menus from the menu panel. If you prefer to show Application Wizard in the menu bar, select the Show buttons in menu bar checkbox. Finally, if you wish to display menus using key combinations, select the corresponding hot key checkboxes.

When Application Wizard is turned off, menus aren't accessible, but you can edit groups, custom applications and menus using the Application Wizard pane in System Preferences.
