Using hot keys to display menus

If you wish, Application Wizard lets you display the Open, Quit, Switch and Special menus by simply pressing a key combination. To enable and customize hot keys, open the Application Wizard pane in System Preferences and click the General tab.

Select the Open menu checkbox to enable a Open menu hot key. Default hot key is Option-Command-O. To change it, click the associated hot key button, press the desired key combination and click OK.

Select the Quit menu checkbox to enable a Quit menu hot key. Default hot key is Option-Command-Q. To change it, click the associated hot key button, press the desired key combination and click OK.

Select the Switch menu checkbox to enable a Switch menu hot key. Default hot key is Option-Command-S. To change it, click the associated hot key button, press the desired key combination and click OK.

Select the Special menu checkbox to enable a Special menu hot key. Default hot key is Option-Command-E. To change it, click the associated hot key button, press the desired key combination and click OK.

Key combinations must contain at least one modifier key (Shift, Control, Option or Command).
